Poster design... September 24 2011 | Saturday at 09:34 PM

One of my goals with keeping this blog is to show some of the not-Short-Army-but-still-neat design work that I do. It's a way for me to stay motivated and excited about the work by talking about it, and also hopefully someone will read this blog someday and think to themselves "hey, that illustration is badass" and I'll feel a small sense of satisfaction. Anyway, recently a request came in from my good pal JJ at Cuisine en Locale. You may remember her from an earlier post where she did a lot of photography for me, which is just one of her many many many MANY talents, but the thing she is most passionate about right now is cooking food from locally grown ingredients here in the harsh climate of New England. For this fine Halloween season she's teamed up with Taza Chocolate to cross promote a couple of Dia De Los Muertos themed events for the discerning locavore foodie - or for anyone who likes fun and eating. As a general rule, I always say yes to JJ. I just can't help myself.

So without further ado, here's my very own Das Spooky Ghost making an appearance in a poster illustration:
